In the year 1999, Thomas Anderson was living an ordinary life. He was an average employee, a computer programmer who by night, hacks computers under the codename Neo.
The science fiction film series starring Keannu Reeves is now in the world of Lego -particularly in Lego animation. A YouTuber and Legomaniac named SteveDowdy made a Lego animation of The Matrix, putting in 4 months of work. Now that is what we call dedication.
Many people love the Matrix trilogy and Lego fans are now clamoring for a Lego Matrix video game. Well, in fairness to these Legomaniacs, a Lego Matrix video game would be a rather cool addition to Lego’s game collection. If Indiana Jones is fun, The Matrix will be at par with if ever Lego decides to make it. Of course, these two movies do not belong to the same genre so basically they are incomparable but special-effects-wise, and plot-wise, Lego Matrix will be as good as any of the existing Lego video games.
It seems that everything becomes more fun and engaging if it is in Lego so why not Lego Matrix? While Lego and Matrix fans are waiting, another Lego animation of the sci-fi action film must be watched -the animation titled Lego Matrix Trinity Help took a lot of time and effort from its makers.
Steve Ilett and Trevor Boyd, the uber talented animation duo did Lego Matrix Trinity Help in 440 hours. At that rate, the two worked on every frame for 10 hours. Now that is pure awesomeness! No wonder though that the whole video is only 1 minute and 24 seconds. One of the boys commented that At that ratio of 10 hours per second we figured we could do the whole film in about 9 years, so long we didn’t need to eat or sleep. As a full-time job then, we’re probably looking at 25 years or so. No thanks.” (quote from Geeky Gadgets)
