Little Coloured Bricks

Legoland is expanding. With the many superstars and superheroes residing in Lego Nation, the Lego average Joe is never in the limelight. Of course with the term “Average Joe” these guys are not supposed to be in the limelight but they should be because they are the minifigures that make Legoland a better place to live in. They are the construction workers who build those Lego establishments and pave Legoland’s roads.

They are the maids that service those great Lego hotels, making every minifig’s stay in such establishment a better one. These types of Lego minifigs are the ones who actually built the Lego Nation community, far before the Danish building blocks started integrating superstars, celebrities, superheroes and even villains in Legolandia. When Lego was created, all the people were yellow bricks, wearing the same clothes and all looked the same. This does not mean that Legoland was a communist nation in its earlier days, it just means that there weren’t any rock bands in Legolandia back then, there were no action figures just average people.

The doctors in Legoland who treat sick minifigs are never featured but they are the ones who man Legolandia’s Emergency Rooms. Without them, Legoland will be a rather sickly nation.

Legolandia also has police departments with the LPD or the Lego Police Department as its main headquarters. The police keep Legolandia safe from robbers, hijackers and terrorist attacks. The bigger problems however are taken care of by Lego superheroes such as Batman, Superman, Spider-man, Robin, Wonderwoman, etc.

In Legolandia’s shores, the Lego Coast Guards are always on patrol. Sure they see pirates from time to time but they always let Jack Sparrow in their ports since he is a resident of the said nation.

Lego Military is also an important part of the Lego community. They are the ones who fight against Lego terrorists that frequent the major cities of Legolandia.
