Statues made out of Lego have become a famous theme in Lego exhibits and competitions. This just hoes to show that anything is indeed possible with a few colorful blocks and a whole lot of imagination. To show allegiance to the great nation of the United States of America, the Statue of Liberty has already been replicated via Lego blocks. For those who are wondering whether it is life size, prepare to be disappointed. For those who are expecting it to be almost exact in every detail except for the actual size, then you are in for a treat.

Even the fire on the torch Lady Liberty is holding is made out of Lego bricks, cool eh? Other famous Lego monuments and Lego statues are made, most of which have strong connections to the United States’ history. For instance, this statue of Iwo Jima is an actual photograph of soldiers taken during the World War II. Look at how even the flag is constructed using LEGO bricks. This is one fine example of history being captured – not on film – but on plastic bricks.

Another classic depiction of the great American spirit is in this replica of the ever famous Mount Rushmore. The nuances in every president depicted in this tribute statue are clearly captured by the creators of this Lego famous monument. This brings to mind: are wax museums a thing of the past? Are Lego models of important people and celebrities the wax models of the future? People will have to wait to find out.
