Exploring the Lego factory is one thing that children would appreciate since the production line of the world famous toy citizens need a lot of love and care during their creation and thee creation of their tools and gadgets but since it is a production line, they are assembled at rather uncanny speeds.
The first thing that happens is that raw plastic material is placed in the molds to create the head, the miniscule hands of the minifig, the torso, hips and the limbs along with its other components such as helmets, vests, swords or guns.
The creation of the torso and the head is a complicated process since they need to have clothes, capes, etc. This process makes the minifigs the most expensive components of a Lego set. The Death Star Diorama for example is one of the most expensive sets from Lego because of its elaborately designed minifigs.
Once they are painted with the right colors and shapes, the torsos are then placed into the assembly machine where the bodies of the minifigs are put together mechanically. The same machine then places other smaller parts like the hands into the arms, etc. If you think this process is a slow one, you would have to see it for yourself and be amazed at how fast these minifigs are made.
After that, the torsos are placed in the packaging area where they placed in their boxes or bags along with their hair, helmet, hat, legs, hips, and head. The new minifigs usually come in “pieces” so that Lego blocks owners will have the chance to actually build their minifigs from the pieces. The original ones came in one blog though i.e. completely built that Lego aficionados no longer need to build it from its components.
Minifigs are very important part of any Lego set, because a set without one, is a lonely place…
