Do angels exist? Yes they do if you are from a Lego town or city. Many people claim that angels exist but no one can actually prove that they do but whether they are for real or not, angels are very famous.
What Are Angels?
According to the Christian belief system, angels are messengers of God but according to popular culture, there are good angels and dark angels. The Fallen are a very interesting topic of discussion among those who are fascinated by these beings. To Lego enthusiasts however, angels are just a creation that needs a lot of attention. The term angel was derived from the Greek Angelos which meant messenger. It is not only in the bible that angels are mentioned. In Greek mythology, Cupid (an angel) is his mother’s messenger of love. His mother is the Goddess of beauty and love. There are many other accounts of course and this just proves that the love for angels goes far back.
Although the bible is the most popular resource for God’s angels, it is said that their origins date back to the ancient Persians. The Persian religion of Zoroastrianism was the most popular and most powerful religion during 559 BC to 651 AC. The said religion mentioned patron angels that their followers prayed to in times of need.
Angels are also present in Buddhism. Also known as devas, these celestial beings’ function are mainly to protect humans. In Tibet, angels are described as enlightened beings. The bodies of these angels are usually just made out of light or energy but in some schools of Buddhism, these beings are also depicted as humans with wings.
In Hinduism, angels are described as the shining ones because of the light they emanate. Although these angels are not described as protectors or messengers, they are considered as spirits that live in a higher astral plane.
