Warning: This Article Is Not For Children

It’s true, kids shouldn’t watch too much television but judging from this ad campaign, this isn’t from the Lego Group. It is still nice however to put this one out there for parents to pay attention and for others to realize that violence on TV should not be tolerated (or at least not watched by children).

Although these ads are extremely adult by nature, they teach us one thing and it is not bad to at least take it into consideration.

Parents should be able to integrate learning with playtime instead of letting kids watch TV all day. There are educational channels they could also watch though but these are just exemptions to the fact that today’s media is based on hype, sex and violence.

Well enough adult talk and lets move on to the real Lego ad campaigns. One good example is the picture below. It symbolizes imagination and learning.

Why Kids Should Play With Lego

There are many reasons why kids should play with Lego but here are a few of the main reasons:

1. Lego elements are wholesome and do not promote any type of agenda or opinion.

2. Legos are very educational. They help in creating a whole new world for children while steering them through the learning process.

3. They improve the imagination.

4. Children learn how to build through the little coloured bricks.

5. When building complex creations, Lego also helps in improving critical thinking.

6. Lego is fun to play with.

7. It can be used as a medium for parent-child bonding.

8.It can develop exemplary builders who might become Lego Master Builders someday.

9. Legos are very friendly i.e. they have collections for children as young as 1 year old. These toys are big enough not to be swallowed.

10. Legos can be played by adults too.
