Information On The Band
KISS is a famous American hard rock band known for their painted faces and their rather spectacular stage performances.
Selling over 40 million albums in the US alone, KISS’s popularity soared in the late 70s.
KISS Nostalgia In The 90s
Parents of this time and age where exposed to KISS’s music and may be the best music scene the world has ever experienced –the 70s and 80s. This is of course the opinion of the older folks but let us give that debate a rest and focus on Kiss Nostalgia and what happened in the 90s.
Although the band had a rather rocky journey together, when the 90s came and their fans started becoming rather nostalgic about the awesome KISS concerts, the band’s leaders (Stanley and Simmons) knew that a reunion was inevitable. The four members did not really get along well but because of their fans and for the sake of KISS –the original lineup- Criss and Frehley agreed to a 1996 reunion. Their MTV unplugged appearance in their original lineup was one of the best moments in the history of KISS.
After the reunion, the band played together again for a decade.
KISS Today
Today, KISS still has a few new albums to be proud of and they are still very popular. After all, the band and its original members are icons and that’s how it will always stay in the hearts of fans.
KISS in LEGO
We’ve seen KISS on cupcakes and as garden gnomes so why not as LEGO minifigs? You can create your own version of KISS minifigs as well or just grab a copy of the photo above.
