If arms dealers go into the black market to sell their goods, Lego enthusiasts also have a version of this black market where Lego builders can sell their Lego creations and Lego elements.
BrickLink is an unofficial Lego Marketplace where those who want to sell their vintage Lego collection gather. There are a bunch of BrickLink stores in their website and you can buy these items online.
You can buy Lego sets, Lego parts, minifigs, books, gears, catalogs, instructions, original boxes and custom items in the said website making it a rather nice site to go to if you are looking for specific items you cannot find in the Lego store near you.
It also has a list of stores in different parts of the globe but these are not physical stores –just online stores managed by Lego collectors. Most of the sets sold are of course used unless otherwise stated. If you do not want to browse through all of the stores at BrickLinks, you can always do a search or post a wanted ad right on the website’s interface. The interface is easy to use by the way the since it is very straightforward so there is nothing for you to worry about when it comes to navigating the site.
You would have to register first before you can post anything though so click on the REGISTER button at the website and fill in the information required.
BrickLink is a great place to go to if you want to buy used Lego items or vintage Lego sets you can no longer find anywhere. Although the said place is not that popular, it may be something you should take a look at. It is however important for you to exercise caution in dealing with the stores and reading reviews first before sending any money.
