Have you ever seen a Lego laptop? If you haven’t seen one before you should take a look at Alexandar Mechev’s Lego laptop creation.

It’s too bad it does not really function as a laptop but hey, it’s a cool gadget idea that Lego may want to consider making. Remember that Lego mobile phone from Alcatel released in 2009? If that is possible maybe a laptop can be made too.

This will surely make a lot of Lego fans rather happy. It will make lots of kids happy too.

What are Laptops?

A laptop is a computing device. A descendant of the personal computer –a smaller one at that, laptops are very popular not only among the younger generation but among those who need mobile computing device for work. Laptops come in many colors, brands and even shapes. A smaller version of the laptop is called a notebook or a netbook. The notebook looks the same only a lot smaller and is likened to the size of a regular notebook. A netbook on the other hand is only used for surfing the net and not really a great gadget if you need to save lots of files.

Lego Laptops

Although there are no laptops yet coming from the Lego Group, there are now a few that are assembled by Lego enthusiasts. Do you remember that guy who assembled the casing of his personal computer out of Lego blocks? Well the process of making a working Lego laptop is just the same, you just have to have knowledge on how its system works. This does not mean that you have to assemble your own laptop though because you would only be making a Lego casing for it. This can be quite difficult however because it might affect the integrity of the system so be very careful with it.
