Using the Lego Message Board can be a fun way to interact with your little friends. A safe haven for kids, the message board located at Lego.com is truly a great place to be.
Want to know the basics of using the message board?
Here’s a few pointers for message board newbies. You have to remember not to multi post or post one issue twice or thrice –in short, no spam please. It is also important for you to be always on topic and not discuss Lego mechs if the discussion is about Lego Harry Potter.
Make your posts as succinct as possible. It should only consist of 600 characters all in all –remember the keyword –characters not words. Doing ok so far?
If you just posted something at the website but hasn’t seen it posted yet, do not repost because it takes 72 hours before it will be posted. The mods are working very hard to keep the whole site clean and kid-friendly so be patient. On busier days however, please give them more time to get your post posted.
If you want to read the most recent post in the message boards without having to go through all the pages, you can look for LAST POST located at the blue bar on top of the webpage.
If you want to reply to someone, you can hit reply and reply away and if you see someone breaking the rules inside the message boards “premises”, you can always report them by clicking the REPORT button. This will notify the mods that someone just crossed the line. This is for your own safety and the safety of others using the site too.
Even though Lego.com is an extremely wholesome site, one has to remember that there are always bad people around so keep your eyes open.
