Earlier, we introduced you to Brian Kescenovitz. He’s the guy to go to for inspiration if you’re planning on doing a MOC of a mecha. In that particular genre of Lego-building, he is the boss.

Also on the previous post, it mentioned the diorama entitled “Zero Hour on Highway 44.” His contribution to the said diorama is the series of mocs he made and called the “Dawn Forge Creations.”

The Dawn Forge Creations is a series Brian Kescenovitz made, consisting primarily of military vehicles. And when you have Brian Kescenovitz and military vehicles together in a sentence, it only means Mecha Moc madness! Yes, Brian is at it again with his mocs-terpieces and trademark mecha designs.

Here’s a rundown of some of the smaller mechs in the Dawn Forge series:

Probably the smallest in the series, this scaled-to-minifig driod as described by the creator, is an anti-personnel and light-armor hunter. This cute and deadly droid is called the Absolver. Very mean name, isn’t it?

Climbing up the line-up is the E1-Unity Combat Droid. An upgrade to the Absolver, the Unity is more advanced in terms of weaponry and intellectually. An AI-operated droid, the Uni’s are deployed in squads of five with an E2 variant as a squad leader.

The E2 Unity Variant is a more superior variant of the E1. Still classified as a droid, its AI is much more powerful and can perform more complex calculations and decisions, and is equipped with a more powerful communications tools. Without the E2 in a squad, the E1’s can still function, but less efficiently. The E2’s position is automatically filled in by the E1 with the most experience.

Again, these are just the Drone class of the Dawn Forge series, and are entirely made out of Lego. The description might sound like they’re the real thing, but are really just part of the whole back-story Brian has cooked up. Genius!

If you find these impressive already, get ready to be knocked out in awe when you see the rest of the mecha line-up.
