Happily ever after may exist in dreamland but in your Lego City it may not. Now that Ashley, Amanda or Susan is married to Mr. Lego Right and they already have kids to pick up at school, let her do her job as a wife and mother.
Let the whole story evolve into a fulfilling relationship. Have Mr. Lego Right find vacation homes in the new, albeit, far city you have been building. Let them afford summer vacations, let them have a big house, let them have money for the kids for their college education. Let them. After all, you are their one and only merciful God.
Let them argue about mundane things. Let them cry from time to time and laugh a lot of times. Let Mr. Lego Right get his fill of TV and let her be a doting mother and wife. Let her read a book or two. Let her raise her children well even if she and her Legoman husband fail frequently.
Let them lapse into boredom then sadness. Let him have a mid-life crisis while she has her menopause. Let the Lego children grow up and go to college, graduate, have a job and start dating. Let the couple feel contented. Let her age well.
Let him dote on her even if they are already old. Let her contract an illness –maybe terminal. Let her die peacefully in her sleep amidst the ever-changing Lego City you have built. Let her children cry and blame all the Lego doctors who may have failed to do their jobs well. Let Mr. Lego Right cry for her.
Give her a dignified funeral. Dress her beautifully. Make sure that you pick her favorite dress. Build a Lego casket. Make sure you pick the white bricks. Put a design on it. Get a plot of land at the back of the chapel where she and her husband got married and let her rest in peace.
