Lego fanatics: put your game faces on and it is time to stretch your fingers because Lego is coming right into your Nintendo DS! Yes, Lego has teamed up with Nintendo and came up with a game you will definitely enjoy.
Lego Battles: Ninjago is the name of the game, and if you can probably guess from the name, it’s about Ninjas and Legos. The story in-game story introduces the gamer to a new fighting style named Spinjitzu –a style that involves powerful spinning techniques to dominate over enemies. Battle against evil skeleton forces in a world full of ninjas and help recover ninja powerful weapons to bring the world to a balance. As the game progresses, be ready to go against dragons, enemy soldiers, as the enemy keeps sending armies upon armies to make sure you fail in your quest.

To accomplish your goals in the game, you are taught to build your own army of Lego Ninjas and make use of their special skills to vanquish the enemy. Destroy the enemy yourself, or you can choose to fight with an ally with the 2-player option of the game. The game is a complement to the newly-released Ninjago set by Lego and is exclusively released only on the Nintendo DS.
However, if you want to perform the Spinjitzu with actual minifigs, just buy a Ninjago set. With the Ninjago, you can build and customize weapons for your minfigures and mount them on a top-like base. The gameplay can be a lot more exciting with the addition of power-up cards for your weapons.
If you don’t have a Nintendo DS yet, then this is one good reason to get one. And while you’re at it, why not also avail yourself of a set or two of Lego’s Ninjago and spin it like a real Ninja!
