Do you want more info on Lego’s 2011 line-up? Then you have come to the right place. Coming this year to a Lego store near you is a barrage of new sets, minfigs, and bricks for your consumption!
If you loved the Atlantis theme from Lego, then they have a treat for you. All new models and sets for this theme will be released under a new name “Cousteau”. In these new sets, you will have more submarines, bathyspheres, and a whole lot of underwater stuff to go with the scenery.
Bring out the Ninja in you with the new addition to Lego’s Nijago sets. Perhaps this is Lego’s biggest addition yet with a whole army of spinning ninjas, skeleton goons, monster trucks, and ninjas riding Harley bikes! A new video game exclusive for the Nintendo DS will also be released this year, so be ready for a whole lot of Ninja action!
If you’re just excited about more bricks, Lego will also be releasing new brick shapes this year and also in new colors. Add to that, Lego will also be putting out some classic-looking sets, just so if you want to take a break from all the complex-building you’ve done the last couple of years. This year, you can take it easy with some of the classic pieces and sets for, of course, cheap prices.
Perhaps the best-selling Lego theme is also welcoming lots of new additions this year. Lego’s City theme is growing larger and larger with all the latest sets coming later this 2011. Also, a classic set in the City theme is getting a revival with the new and improved (and more massive) 783-piece Police Station. Maybe Lego has gotten a little too liberal with the cop theme that they are even releasing a Police Boat set, a Mobile Police Unit, even a Police Dog unit.
