Lego Trivia

Lego has come a long way and it has inspired a lot of people –from engineers to chefs to those who work with computers and make computer software to those who design buildings.

According to many Lego fans, being addicted to the bricks is like being addicted to a videogame –once you start with it, you won’t be able to stop. Although some do stop playing with their Lego at a certain age, there are those who have made building Lego creations into a profession while some others have made it into a hobby or a collection.

Building something out of Lego bricks requires passion, creativity, patience and nimble fingers. Sometimes when the interlocking is too strong –it also requires a little bit of strength.

For Lego master builders, building Lego creations to make a living is definitely a dream come true. However, for those who aren’t master builders just yet, making custom Lego minifigs and selling them for a good price is always a wonderful pastime and a way to make some extra money especially now that online auctions make it easier to sell stuff.

Whatever you do with your Lego bricks or your Lego minifigs, playing with them always brings good things –alright maybe a few fugly creations at first but later on as you get your groove on, you will be able to build magnificent creations and you get to improve your creating prowess as well.

If Lego were already available during Van Gogh’s time, he would have built a few weird and slightly disturbing Lego art. Da Vinci on the other hand would have perfected his flying contraption or at least had a Lego model of it. Maybe he would have also built a spaceship-like Lego thing or maybe he would have left a certain code within his Lego creations. Or maybe not but it is always nice to think about it that way –imagination, remember?
