Lego Education North America has a new Facebook URL and you can click LIKE on the page right about now if you click here. Now that the technical stuff is out of the way, let us update you on what’s new with Lego Education (and NASA) if you like Lego space shuttles.

If you haven’t heard yet, there is a new Lego space mission on the works and you can join in the adventure. NASA and Lego Education are working together to make an educational program possible and this includes inviting teachers from the world over to participate in the program.

The program aims to inspire children in learning science, engineering, technology and math. Yes, math! Math is way cool if you are interested in it and it might even make you into a rocket a scientist.

The program encourages kids to explore life in space through science, technology, engineering and math (have we mentioned that already?) and it also includes a special tour of the International Space Station and the space shuttle.

What makes this program more exciting is you will get to work with the crew members of the ISS while doing a Lego project and if that isn’t cool enough, you will surely love to solve a few ISS problems regarding microgravity. This may sound rather geeky but it sure is a nice way to learn about the basics in working for NASA.

Here’s the deal kids, if you want a cool job, you better learn your math and add a sprinkling of science in it and you will do fine. If you excel, you will do much better –you might become an astronaut someday or maybe even better –a rocket scientist for that matter. Who knows what the future holds, que sera sera they say but hey, you can influence your future!
