Even if Mother Nature has not been notified yet, spring is already here –at least in the malls.

There are still some places that are still covered in snow though and in other parts of the world, the breeze is still a bit icy.

In the world of Lego however, spring has already arrived and everyone’s just ready to go out and enjoy the nice weather.

The Colours For Spring

If you are into fashion, you have to check out the trendiest colours for Spring 2011.

Pink is totally hot this spring, so make sure that your lady minifigs get to strut their style during this season.

Flame orange is also a gorgeous colour that even the Lego dudes can rock. Take a look at this uber high tech Legoman/Legobot here, isn’t he cute? Maybe that is even a woman -women can totally rock flame orange too. It seems that firemen uniform is going to be hot this season, let’s just cross our fingers that there won’t be any fire.

Another trendy colour is spring green so make sure your minifig has this in his or her closet!

Rich yellow or what the fashion world call beeswax is also a good colour to rock this time of year so make sure that you have enough clothes that match this color.

With the number of lively colours mentioned above, you would need the shade of “linen” as your backdrop –you can’t let your minifigs look like a tropical cocktail would you? Or maybe you would but if you want your minifigs to be fashionable we suggest you make sure that you have linen. Here is how linen looks.

Marine blue is also a good colour for spring according to the fashion world and marine blue looks like the Lego without an arm above.

If you love blue, you would love this shade of it. It is called aquamarine or turquoise. Well we know you already know that but for the kids reading this –yes turquoise is a colour and not a type of turtle.
