Happy Mother’s Day

It is Mother’s Day in other parts of the world that is why the malls are probably full of sons and daughters doing a last minute shopping spree for mom.

It does not really matter where you come from because mothers in general, no matter what the culture or the race, are very loving. In fact, they are the only ones who will love us unconditionally.
It is however difficult to define what a mother is since it is a complicated thing mainly because we have cultural differences and there are even religious definitions and roles to take into consideration.
Your biological mother is the one who gave birth to you but it is unfortunate that many kids no longer have biological mothers. Instead, they have other mothers. The term mother often applies to the woman who raised you when you were still a child whether or not she is your biological parent.
The sociology of motherhood consists of the primary role of raising children but this role varies in different parts of the world.
One thing we know for sure is that our moms, mamas, mommas, mums will always love us even if we are butt ugly, or even if we are highly unlovable.

Now there’s a cute photo of a Lego mother and child just chilling at the mall. Don’t we just love our mums? They are always there for us when we need them and to top it off, they gave birth to us which is rather painful especially when done naturally.
Apart from giving birth, they also had to put up with our cries early in the morning. But what really is important is the love that they give to us –their children –that unconditional love that only a mother can give to her child.
