A discussion about love sometimes involves a few drinks. In fact, even the most intelligent of people will not be able to define what love is.

The world has so many theories regarding love but what is love? Let’s focus on romantic love and how confusing it is. Love is an emotion that some may associate with butterflies in one’s stomach or a heart leaping like a frog. The term love can be used loosely though i.e. I love that cartoon or I love Lego. Well maybe the latter is a more serious kind of love since many of us can’t imagine life without the little coloured bricks.

Love can be defined as strong feelings of affection for someone. You may define it another way depending on what you have experienced or are experiencing.
