The original terminator may be under fire due to extramarital issues but the other terminators are getting some real Lego loving.

Recreated in Lego blocks, the terminator in the photo certainly looks awesome. In fact, it looks like the real ones we have seen in the movies.

For those who do not know who or what a terminator is, here’s a little backgrounder. The first Terminator movie came out in 1984. It is directed by James Cameron and stars actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Although the movie was not expected to be a box office hit, it became one of the most famous American film characters of all time. In fact, the Library of Congress has put the film in the US National Film Registry for preservation.

The Plot

The setting is post-apocalyptic 2029 where machines seek to rule the world by exterminating what is left of the populace. Two beings from 2029 travel back in time to get to Sarah Connor –one a cyborg sent to kill her and one a human being named Kyle Reese sent to warn and protect Sarah. The cyborg has already killed two Sarah Connors he found in the telephone directory and was already on his way on killing the Sarah Connor who will give birth (at least at one point) to John Connor -the leader of the human resistance. Kyle saves Sarah Connor’s life of course. Later on, Kyle tells Sarah about Skynet and how cyborgs will become self-aware and how they will perpetuate a nuclear holocaust of the very living beings who created them.

If you haven’t watched this movie before, it is best to stop the plot right there so you can enjoy it.
